The Lancia Beta (Type 828) was an entry-level luxury car produced by Italian car manufacturer Lancia from 1972 to 1985. It was the first new model introduced by Lancia after it had been taken over by Fiat in 1969.

Fiat backing finally gave Lancia the resources to develop an all-new range, launched 50 years ago as the Beta Berlina. Lancia did the coupé job properly: this was no cut-down saloon. Lancia introduced the Beta Coupe at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1973.
